Under Armour Signs Sponsorship Deal With Brazilian Soccer Team Sao Paulo

Under Armour said it has entered a multi-year sponsorship deal with Brazilian soccer team Sao Paulo, which has won six national titles and 12 international ones. From May, the club will be kitted out in gear designed by Under Armour. The sports-apparel maker already has partnerships with other soccer teams, including Tottenham Hotspur, Chile's Colo-Colo and Mesico's Cruz Azul and Toluca. Shares rose 1.5% in early trade and are up about 13% in the last three months, outperforming the S&P 500, which is up about 3%.
