Under Armour Shares Up About 2% After Company Reported Better Than Expected Profit, Sales
Under Armour. Inc. [s:UA] shares were up about 2.4% in after-hours trade Wednesday after the company reported better-than-expected profit and sales for its fourth quarter. The apparel company reported net income of $88 million, or 40 cents a share, compared to $64 million, or 30 cents per share, in the year-earlier period. The FactSet adjusted earnings per share consensus was 39 cents. Under Armour reported sales of $895.2 million for the quarter, up from $682.8 million in the year-earlier period and above FactSet expectations of $848.4 million. The company updated its 2015 outlook and said it expects net revenue of $3.76 billion.
