Under Armour Announces $475 Million Acquisition Of MyFitnessPal

Under Armour, Inc. announced Wednesday that it had reached an agreement to acquire MyFitnessPal, a fitness app, for $475 million. The company finished its acquisition of Endomondo in early January for $85 million. With both companies and the company's own app and website, Under Armour will become the world's largest digital health and fitness community, according to the company. The acquisition of MyFitnessPal is expected to close in the first quarter of 2015.
