U.S. Weekly Rig Count Down 75: Baker Hughes

Baker Hughes on Friday reported that the number of U.S. rigs actively drilling for oil and natural gas as of March 6 fell 75 rigs to 1,192. The rig count is down 600 from the same time last year. The number of oil rigs fell 64 to 922. April oil was last at $49.84, down 91 cents, or 1.8%. It was trading around $49.56 before the data.
