U.S. Weekly Oil, Natural-gas Rig Count Down 56: Baker Hughes

Baker Hughes on Friday reported that the number of U.S. rigs actively drilling for oil and natural gas as of March 20 fell 56 rigs from last week to 1,069. The count is down 734 rigs from the same time last year. The number of oil rigs fell 41 to 825. April oil was last at $46.35, up $2.39, or 5.4%. It was trading around $46.30 before the data.
