U.S. Stocks Rally Into Close, End Higher

U.S. stocks rallied into the close and finished Monday with gains as investors shrugged off weak oil prices. The S&P 500 closed 15.60 points or 0.8% higher at 2,021.15. The Dow Jones Industrial Average turned a triple-digit gain into modest losses by midday, but rebounded to finish higher. The blue-chip index gained 122.87 points or 0.7% to 17,251.42. The Nasdaq Composite ended the day up 45.84 points or 0.9%, at 4,968.92.
