U.S. Stocks Open Slightly Higher After Selloff

U.S. stocks opened slightly higher on Wednesday, recovering after enduring their steepest decline in months on Tuesday. The surging dollar, which wreaked havoc in markets on Tuesday, did not stop Wednesday's advance in stocks. The S&P 500 opened 2 points, or 0.1%, higher at 2,045/95. The Dow Jones Industrial Average added 22 points, or 0.1%, to 17,684.39.
