U.S. Stocks Open Lower Amid Bond Selloff
U.S. stocks opened lower on Tuesday, as rising government bond yields triggered selloffs in global equity markets. The S&P 500 opened 13 points, or 0.6%, lower at 2,092.50. The Nasdaq Composite shed 37 points, or 0.7%, to 4,956.39. The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 115 points, or 0.6%, to 17,992.94.
