U.S. Stocks Open Lower Ahead Of ISM Data

U.S. stocks came under pressure shortly after the opening bell on Wednesday as investors assessed a weaker-than-expected private-sector jobs report and awaited more data on manufacturing, spending and car sales. The S&P 500 opened 3 points, or 0.1%, lower at 2,064. The Dow Jones Industrial Average shed 23 points, or 0.1% to 17,755. The Nasdaq Composite began the session down 4 points, or 0.1%, at 4,896.
