U.S. Stocks Open Higher; S&P 500, Dow At Record

U.S. stocks opened slightly higher on Monday with the S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average hitting new highs. Investors await several key economic reports on manufacturing. The S&P 500 hit an intraday high, adding 2 points to 2,0120. The Dow Jones Industrial Average also hit an intraday record, but was flat at 17,387 at the open. The Nasdaq Composite ticked up 3 points to 4,633.
