U.S. Stocks Little-changed After Weaker Durable-good Data
U.S. stocks opened little-changed on Wednesday, as investors assessed weaker-than-expected durable-goods orders and focused on the merger between Kraft and Heinz. Trading volumes were lower than usual. The S&P 500 was flat at 2,091. The Dow Jones Industrial Average slipped 22 points, or 0.1% to 17,985. The Nasdaq Composie began the day down 7 points, or 0.2%, at 4,987.
