U.S. Stocks Fall For Third Day As Fed Meeting, Brexit Loom

U.S. stocks fell for a third consective day Monday as markets prepare for the Federal Reserve's policy meeting and the U.K.'s referendum on whether to stay in the European Union. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 132.86 ponts, or 0.7%, to close at 17,732.48, with Microsoft Corp. leading blue chips lower. The S&P 500 Index declined 17.01 points, or 0.8%, to finish at 2,079.06, weighed by losses in the materials and tech sectors. The Nasdaq Composite Index dropped 46.11 points, or 0.9%, to close at 4,848.44.
