U.S. Stocks End Slightly Lower; IBM Weighs On Dow

U.S. stocks closed slightly lower on Tuesday as investors grappled with mixed earnings reports, while a selloff in the health-care sector weighed on Nasdaq. The S&P 500 closed 2.89 points, or 0.1%, lower at 2,030.77. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 13.43 points, or 0.1%, to 17,217.11. The Nasdaq Composite ended the day down 24.50 points, or 0.5%, at 4,880.97.
