U.S. Stocks End Higher As Bond Fears Fade

U.S. stocks closed higher on Thursday, recovering some of the losses from the previous two sessions, as turbulence in bond markets in the U.S. and in Europe appeared to subside. The S&P 500 closed 7.85 points, or 0.4%, higher at 2,088.00. The Nasdaq Composite added 25.90 points, or 0.5%, to 4,945.54. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 82.08 points, or 0.5%, to 17,924.06.
