U.S. Stocks Decline As Greece Debt Talks Make Little Progress
U.S. stocks ended lower on Wednesday after two consecutive sessions of gains, as negotiations between Greece and its creditors hit another roadblock. The S&P 500 fell 15.62 points, or 0.7%, to 2,122.41. The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 178.00 points, or 1%, to 17,996.07. The Nasdaq Composite ended the day down 37.68 points, or 0.7% to 5,122.41, retreating from the record reached on Tuesday.
