U.S. Stocks Close Little Changed As Foreign Affairs Rattle Markets
U.S. stocks closed little changed Thursday following a session weighed by concerns over President Donald Trump's latest overtures to foreign leaders. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 6.03 points to finish at 19,884.91, with shares of UnitedHealth Group Inc. and Boeing Co. weighing on the average. The S&P 500 index closed up 1.30 points at 2,280.85, with real-estate and utilities stocks leading gains. The Nasdaq Composite index slipped 6.45 points, or 0.1%, to finish at 5,636.20.
