U.S. Stocks Close Higher; S&P 500 At Record
U.S. stocks ended slightly higher on Thursday sending the S&P 500 to a fresh record. The main indexes continue to trade in narrow ranges in the absence of major catalysts. The S&P 500 closed 5 points, or 0.2%, higher at 2,130.84. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed virtually flat at 18,286.74. The Nasdaq Composite ended the session up 19.05 points, or 0.4%, at 5,090.79.
