U.S. Stocks Close Higher For 4th Straight Day
U.S. stocks finished higher Monday for the fourth-straight day as rising crude-oil prices supported battered energy and materials shares. The Dow industrials rose 65.28 points, or 0.4%, to 17.072.68 led by strong gains from Chevron Corp. and Exxon Mobil Corp. The S&P 500 gained 1.6 points, or 0.1%, to 2,001.63. Meanwhile, the Nasdaq Composite finished 8.8 points, or 0.2%, lower at 4,708.25.
