U.S. Stocks Begin June On Positive Note
U.S. stocks opened higher on Monday as investors assessed consumer spending data and await reports on manufacturing. The S&P 500 opened 8 points, or 0.4%, higher at 2,115. The Dow Jones Industrial Average added 90 points, or 0.5%, to 18,101. The Nasdaq Composite began the session up 24 points, or 0.5%, at 5,094.
