U.S. Steel Shares Leap On Big Earnings Beat

U.S. Steel Corp. shares leaped in the extended session Tuesday after the steel producer blew past Wall Street estimates. Shares of U.S. Steel surged 8.1% to $23 on heavy volume. The company reported adjusted fourth-quarter earnings of $1.82 a share on revenue of $4.07 billion. Analysts surveyed by FactSet estimated earnings of 85 cents a share on revenue of $3.94 billion.
