U.S. Auto Sales In August Reached 10-year High Of 18.2 Million

U.S. car and light truck sales rose to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 18.2 million in August, the highest level in 10 years, according to data from Autodata. Economists polled by MarketWatch had forecast a reading of 17.6 million.
