U.K Lawmakers Vote To Start Airstrikes Against ISIS In Syria
U.K. lawmakers voted in favor of joining U.S.-led airstrikes against Islamic State targets in Syria, according to reports Wednesday. British parliament voted 397 to 223 for the airstrikes, which could begin almost immediately, according to The Associated Press and other news outlets. In late November, British Prime Minister David Cameron had argued for the U.K.'s participation in bombing missions against the terrorist organization.
