U.K. Industrial Production Unexpectedly Slips In October
Industrial production in the U.K. unexpectedly shrank in October, with the headline number slipping 0.1% month-on-month, according to data released by the Office for National Statistics on Tuesday. The manufacturing sector performed the worst over the month and decreased by 0.7%. The pound erased an earlier gain after the data, trading at $1.5651, down slightly from $1.5653 late Monday.
