U.K. Ebola Patient In 'critical' Condition

Pauline Cafferkey, the Scottish nurse who is being treated for Ebola at a London hospital, is listed in "critical" condition Saturday, according to the Daily News. A statement on on the Royal Free Hospital's website said Cafferkey's health had deteriorated over the past two days. Cafferkey contracted the virus while volunteering in Sierra Leone with the aid group Save the Children. She returned to England on Dec. 28 by flying into London's Heathrow Airport, and was allowed to fly on to Scotland despite having a fever. More than 7,800 people have died from the virus since the outbreak began more than a year ago.
