1. Twitter [TWTR]
Twitter shares took a hit Friday after Australia-based bank Macquarie Group sliced the social media heavyweight to 'underperform' from 'neutral,' according to Reuters.
2. Textron [TXT]
Shares of Textron got a boost after the maker of Cessna aircraft said it would buy Beechcraft for around $1.4 billion as it expands its aviation footprint. Wall Street's thumbs up to the tie-up is rare in that generally the shares of acquirers fall when they reveal buyouts.
3. Jabil Circuit [JBL]
Jabil Circuit was one of the biggest pre-market gainers. The reason behind the advance wasn't immediately apparent, but shares have struggled since the maker of electronic components for a slew of devices have struggled since the firm released its earnings last week.
4. General Motors [GM]
General Motors shares fell mildly on news the automaker is going to recall close to 1.5 million vehicles in China over safety concerns.
5. Treasury Bonds
It may not be a stock -- but Wall Street is paying close attention to Treasury bond yields. The benchmark 10-year bond rose above 3.02% on the day -- the highest level since 2011 -- as the economy improves and traders brace for less bond buying from the Federal Reserve.
