Twitter Avoids Social Media Slump Despite Outage

Despite Twitter's (NYSE:TWTR) mid-afternoon outage, the micro blogging site is the only social media stock that is trading higher on Tuesday. Go figure.

Other social media stocks like LinkedIn (NYSE:LNKD), Facebook (NASDQ:FB), and Yelp (NYSE:YELP) all headed south ahead of the closing bell.
