Tsakalotos To Be Sworn In As New Greek Finance Minister: Reports

Euclid Tsakalotos will be sworn in as the new Greek finance minister later Monday, taking over the seat after Yanis Varoufakis's surprise resignation, Reuters reported. Tsakalotos took over the lead in Greece's bailout negotiations in April, when the mood between Varoufakis and the eurozone lenders had soured. The new finance minister has a PhD in economics from Oxford University and is seen as one of the master minds behind Syriza's economic policy making, according to the Guardian newspaper.
