TrueCar Inc. said Tuesday it expects U.S. revenue from sales of new vehicles to reach a record of $44 billion for November, up 3.8% from a year ago. "Automakers are in a very healthy position after the close of Black Friday promotions, with nine of the top 12 manufacturers experiencing notable revenue gains," TrueCar VP of industry insights Eric Lyman said in a statement. December is also expected to be strong as it is traditionally a big month for luxury brands, he said. TrueCar estimates the average sale price for a new light vehicle was $32,966, up slightly from a year ago.
