TransDigm Taps Former Cliffs Natural Executive As Its New CFO

TransDigm Group Inc. said Thursday it has hired Terrance Paradie as its executive vice president and chief financial officer. Paradie recently had the same role at mining company Cliffs Natural Resources Inc. , the aircraft component maker said. Greg Rufus, TransDigm CFO, who has said he will retire at the end of 2016, will work closely with Paradie to ensure a smooth transition, the company said. Shares of TransDigm fell 0.2% in after-hours Thursday, after ending the regular session up 0.7%.
