Tesla Above $200 a Share Ahead Of Musk Update
Shares of Tesla Motors Inc. rose on Thursday, trading above $200 a piece ahead of a press conference set for 9 a.m. Pacific. Tesla Chief Executive Elon Musk tweeted Sunday about the event, saying the electric-car maker was about "to end range anxiety...via (over-the-air) software update. Affects entire Model S fleet." In October, also following tweets from Musk's personal Twitter handle, Tesla unveiled its souped-up version of the Model S sedan, adding all-wheel drive and autonomous driving features to its cars.
