Teradyne Shares Jump On Earnings Beat, Strong Outlook

Teradyne Inc. shares rose in the extended session Wednesday after the industrial test equipment maker's quarterly results and outlook topped Wall Street estimates. Teradyne shares surged 6.7% to $23.50 after hours. The company reported adjusted earnings of 33 cents a share on revenue of $410.5 million. Analysts surveyed by FactSet had estimated 28 cents a share on revenue of $400.5 million. Teradyne expects adjusted earnings of 18 cents to 25 cents a share on revenue of $330 million to $360 million in the fourth quarter. Analysts had estimated 13 cents a share on revenue of $324.6 million.
