Tenet Healthcare shares sink after it issues weak profit forecast for 2015
Tenet Healthcare Corp. shares sank Monday after the health care company issued a disappointing profit forecast for 2015.
The Dallas-based company said that it expects to earn between $1.32 and $2.40 per share for the year on adjusted basis with revenue between $17.4 billion and $17.7 billion. Analysts polled by FactSet were anticipating earnings of $2.57 per share on revenue of $17.44 billion.
Shares of the company — which operates hospitals, outpatient centers, health plans and other related businesses — fell 9 percent to close at $47.
