Technology disruption affects some automated passport control, global entry kiosks in US

U.S. officials say Customs and Border Protection experienced a brief technology disruption affecting some automated passport control and global entry kiosks.

A spokeswoman for Customs and Border Protection, Jennifer Evanitsky, says the problem lasted for about 90 minutes Saturday and that travelers are back to being able to use the kiosks to complete their entrance into the U.S.

No information has been released on the extent of the disruption or how many travelers were affected.
