Super PAC backing GOP's Jeb Bush on air with $24-million campaign in Iowa, New Hampshire
The super PAC created to support Republican Jeb Bush's presidential campaign is on the air in early voting primary states with a $24 million television ad buy. The ads will remain on the air through the end of the year.
Aides to Right to Rise USA say the 30-second spot casting the former Florida governor as a "proven conservative" with "real results" is airing in Iowa and New Hampshire, which hold the first voting of the 2016 campaign. The ad begins airing in South Carolina next week.
Bush is trying to move ahead of billionaire Donald Trump and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson in national Republican polls.
