SunTrust Downgrades Home Depot, Lowe's

SunTrust Robinson Humphrey analyst Keith Hughes cut the ratings of both Home Depot Inc. and Lowe's Cos. to neutral from buy on Tuesday. He said both stocks have been up this year, in contrast to the declining share performance of their suppliers. "We believe the current valuations for HD and LOW would require much faster growth rates from large ticket items to justify more upside," Hughes said. Lowe's fell 1.9% in early trading. Home Depot declined 2%.
