Stocks Turn Mostly Positive; Dow Still In The Red

U.S. stocks turned mostly positive in early trading Monday after starting out largely in the red. The S&P 500 rose 0.2%, the tech-heavy Nasdaq gained 0.4% and the small-cap Russell 2000 rose 0.6%, as each index climbed out of negative territory. The Dow industrials remained lower, losing 64 points as it was hurt by IBM's 7% loss after its disappointing earnings report. But the blue-chip had been down by more than 100 points earlier.
