Stocks Open Flat, Bulls Hope To Extend Record Run

U.S. stocks opened near unchanged as investors weighed corporate results and kept an eye on a a rising dollar. The S&P 500 rose 0.57 point to trade at 2,038.83, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average traded at 17,621.10, up 8.36 points. Both indexes closed at record levels for a fourth consecutive session on Monday. The Nasdaq Composite fell 2.01 points.
