Square And Match Both Close About Issue Prices

Shares of Square Inc., and Match Group Inc., two companies that went public Thursday, closed above their issue prices. Square's stock closed at $13.07, above its issue price of $9 and above its previously proposed range of $11 to $13. The fact that Square's issue price was below the expected rangeprompted concern about private-market valuations, but the stock's performance today helped soothe some of those fears. Match Group's stock closed at $14.70, above its issue price of $12 and above its range of $12 to $14.
