S&P 500, Dow Retreat From Record Highs
U.S. stocks opened lower on Wednesday, with the main indexes retreating from record levels. Investors focused on earnings results from retailers, such as Macy's Inc. and Fossil Group Inc. . The S&P 500 opened 7 points, or 0.3%, lower at 2,033.09. The Dow Jones Industrial Average began the day down 73 points, or 0.4% at 17,541.38. The Nasdaq Composite fell 15 points, or 0.3%, to 4,645.45.
