S&P 500, Dow On Track To Close At Record Levels

The S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average are on track to close at fresh record levels, as upbeat report on the labor market as well as midterm election results that left Republicans with a Senate majority boosted prices. The S&P 500 is up 10 points, or 0.5%, at 2,021. The Dow Jones Industrial Average up 90 points, or 0.5%, to 17,469. The Nasdaq Composite lagged the main benchmarks and is on track to close lower, down 5 points or 0.2%, at 4,616.
