S&P 500, Dow Industrials Close At Records

The S&P 500 index and the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at records for the 38th and 52nd time this year, while the Nasdaq Composite closed at its highest level since March 2000, as the so-called Santa rally continued. The Dow industrials closed 23 points, or 0.13%, higher at 18,053, while the S&P 500 gained 6.89 points, or 0.33%, to 2,088.7. The Nasdaq Composite gained 33.39 points, or 0.70%, to close at 4,806.8.
