S&P 500 Climbs Into Record Territory
U.S. stocks opened marginally higher on Monday, with the S&P 500 rising above its previous closing records. With the economic calendar empty, investors will focus on benchmarks' record levels, as well as volatile commodity prices. The S&P 500 opened a point higher at 2,032.74. The Dow Jones Industrial Average slipped 13 points, or 0.1%, to 17,561.04. The Nasdaq Composite began the week virtually unchanged at 4,650.32.27.
