SolarCity Swings To Net Gain In Q3
SolarCity Corp. on Wednesday reported third-quarter net income of $19.2 million, or 19 cents a share, swinging from a loss of $2.1 million, or 3 cents a share, for the same period a year ago. Reporting after the close, the San Mateo, Calif.-based company said sales were $58.3 million vs. last year's $48.6 million. The solar energy provider reported an adjusted loss of 75 cents a share, while analysts polled by FactSet predicted a loss of $1.12 a share. SolarCity shares fell 4.4%, or $2.52 a share, to $54.44 at the end of trading.
