Solar ETF To Dump Beat-up Chinese Stock Hanergy

Hanergy Thin Film Power Group is getting dropped as a component of the Guggenheim Solar ETF , a Guggenheim Partners spokesman told MarketWatch on Thursday. The move comes one day after Hanergy's stock plunged, leading the ETF to close down 7.8% on Tuesday. The ETF's index provider, MacSolar, "will drop Hanergy from its index, effective on the close of the date Hanergy resumes trading," Guggenheim spokesman Ivy McLemore said in an email. Investor's Business Daily first reported the news.
