Sky PLC shares in London were heading toward their best gain in two months Monday on speculation the Murdoch family is interested in taking full control of the broadcaster. France's Vivendi SA and Vodafone PLC in recent months have each approached the Murdochs about buying their 39% stake in Sky, but were turned down after informal discussions, according to a report by The Sunday Telegraph. Sky shares rose as much as 5.7%, but pared the gain to 3.6% in afternoon trade.
