Shares Of Major Home Builders Extend Gains After Fed Policy Announcement

Shares of major home builders extended gains shortly after the Federal Reserve's Wednesday afternoon policy announcement. Shares of Lennar were up 4.01% about 10 minutes after the 2 p.m. Eastern announcement, compared with a gain of 2.86% just before the news. Meanwhile, shares of PulteGroup were recently up 2.32%, compared with an increase of 1.98% before the news. Shares of D.R. Horton were recently up 2.59%, compared with a rise of 2.18% just before 2 p.m.
