Shares Of Major Home Builders Extend Gains After Fed Policy Announcement

WASHINGTON – Shares of major home builders extended gains shortly after the Federal Reserve's Wednesday afternoon policy announcement. Shares of Lennar were up 4.01% about 10 minutes after the 2 p.m. Eastern announcement, compared with a gain of 2.86% just before the news. Meanwhile, shares of PulteGroup were recently up 2.32%, compared with an increase of 1.98% before the news. Shares of D.R. Horton were recently up 2.59%, compared with a rise of 2.18% just before 2 p.m.
