Senate Panel To Hold Hearing On Fed Reform On March 3

The Senate Banking Committee will hold a hearing on March 3 on proposals to reform the Federal Reserve, according to reports. Sen. Rand Paul, a Republican from Kentucky, is seeking Senate action on his plan to "audit the Fed," shorthand for letting the Government Accountability Office prepare real-time reports on central bank monetary policy.
