SEC Says It Would Use Obama Funding For 431 More Staffers
The Securities and Exchange Commission would use President Barack Obama's plan for $1.72 billion in additional spending to hire more examiners. According to a breakdown by commission, this would lead to an increase of 431 staffers, with 93 enforcement staff, 225 additional examiners and would also include staff to boost market oversight.
