SEC Says It Is Monitoring Market Impact Of Developments In Greece

The Securities and Exchange Commission said on Monday afternoon it is monitoring what's happening in Greece, in particular for its potential impact on U.S. markets and Greek companies that trade on U.S. exchanges. "We have been closely monitoring developments in Greece and discussing them with market participants as appropriate," said an SEC spokeswoman. The Greek companies with American Depositary Receipts on the New York Stock Exchange are National Bank of Greece SA , and Navios Maritime Holdings Inc. . The SEC did not halt trading in any U.S. exchange listed Greek company on Monday.
