SEC Names Goldman Sachs Lawyer As White's Top Aide
The Securities and Exchange Commission on Thursday said Andrew J. "Buddy" Donohue will replace Lona Nallengara as chief of staff to Chairwoman Mary Jo White. Nallengara's resignation, effective in June, was announced last week. Donohue is currently a managing director, associate general counsel, and investment company general counsel at Goldman Sachs . He previously served at the SEC from May 2006 to November 2010 as its director of the Division of Investment Management. Donahue is an attorney who also worked for Morgan Lewis & Bockius, Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, and OppenheimerFunds Inc., among others.
